Only those who have taken sachin to be their god can cry' date=' it is not possible for anyone else to do so.[/quote'] No, calling him God is a Indian cultural reverence thing(BTW it makes me uneasy every time some one calls him that), its understandable that for culture with middle eastern influence this would sound very un-natural or un doable. But almost crying is because of him being so dear, and because Indians have invested so much of their love in him, every century they tracked, every time they bragged about him, every instance they tried to mask his failure..it was an investment in him, a leap of faith which he mostly re-payed..so when he is gone there is the void.

Are you sure? :cantstop:
yup, the one i think you are referring there, He is the only messenger not God :).. respect for self respect for almighty and his only messenger thats it..for us there are adi shakti, tri murthy and their wives and children, gods, teachers, mom, dad, elders, forefathers that we can worship..fundamental difference that.

Just because you follow another religion doesn't mean you become a narrow minded, closed, stupid individual who does not comprehend that some words means different things to different culture/religion? For you the use of the word God is only in the holiest of sense. For hindus, God can be used in many different ways and for lessor and they dont have to be as conservative or narrow in interpretation as muslims?

Thats what I'm thinking dude. It's just a sport at the end of the day. Cry for the jawans defending the LOC at a paltry sum of less than 10,000 rupees per month. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
the most pathetic, stupid thing is that people like you will remember the jawans only on this day when people are talking about crying on Sachin's retirement. For the other days of the years and every years you wil,l care two hoots for the jawans or the poor people or anything else. But as soon as someone brings up crying for Sachin's last test, bloody hearts will cry tears for jawans on the same day

I will be phaacking relieved. It is waaaaaay past time. Legacy is already tarnished with a pedestrian average of sub 54 for the "greatest modern day batsman". However, I will lose interest in following closely this Indian team.
He could have hit some quick ODI centuries against bangladesh and left test when he was 56. something..missed the trick. but hey he was 55+ for most of the time..

I cried when Sachin got out, it was really really emotional. Sachin is like a family member for me, it's hard to let someone go, when you are so attached to a person even though Sachin doesn't even know that I exist

I have been following his career since he made his debut. How many careers have come and one in between. Someone who got married in 1989 might even have a grand kid lol.
Did you cry? :cantstop:

Thanks for answering. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion. :) Nothing wrong with not crying too. :)
Don't care what others do.. I reacted naturally.when he walked out and wiped his tears. :cantstop: Yes i cry even when i listen to Ennio morricone's Gabriel's oboe as well. It is human reaction you can't control.
