I don't know whether he deserves it but he has done far more service for India and Indians than most of those who have received Bharat Ratnam in the past Sachin or Rajiv Gandhi . Give me a break

Yes, definitely. His contribution to India goes farther than cricket. He was an inspiration to millions of Indians. Cant think of any Indian who is loved and respected throughout the entire length and breadth of the country in modern era. He united India in many ways and gave many people hope and belief and happiness when their future looked bleak. He is a real super star and super hero.
