lol true to me he was the most complete batsman :) i have my favorites but he was easily the most complete and that is the reason he was able to carry on for so long and between cook and clarke well clarke is clearly better batsman even if statistically they look identical and cook might play much more

the point is even statistically it looks very very difficult (never mind the quality aspect) and we arent even talking about ODIs

Cook has already been struggling for runs after India series. Last 1 year, 14 tests, 852 runs at average of 32 and he is not even 30 yet. It will be difficult to carry on after a lean patch.

haha when experts and some fans were saying that cook could surpass sachin i laughed at it. Because i knew once he has a lean patch it will be difficult for him to maintain that average just like ponting had. He is good but not in the league of sachin, lara or ponting.
