India's Tour to South Africa, 2013

Saffers are big time whiners and Robin Jackman is the biggest among them with , Ackerman and the cronies, Wessels and Mbangwa are the only ones who talk sense, quite clearly Indians are in this position because of application, execution and most important skill level of their players. Batters outplayed the SA batters by showing good patience and judging the ball on line and length per bounce, our bowlers were able to extract more life, seam and reverse which is about skills, SA bowlers did not reverse, move both ways only relied on either out ward movement and ocassional bouncer for Steyn, Morkel just bounce and trundle Vernon on slight seam of fuller length. Wessels commented that on this track which is favouring bowlers India due to their skill levels and even though slightly less pace comparatively have gained more rather then a batting track where pace would be a bigger difference but I dis agree as Indian bowlers know how to bowl on those tracks to because, Shami moves it both ways , reverses and has a decent short ball and Yorker, Zaheer has lost a bit of pace but his skills are greater then most bowlers out there and Ishant bowled well with his wobbly seam like Vernon he gets ocassional one to come in or out although he should bowl atleast 5 k quicker then his pace of 134 k in this game to be really good and attacking. SA batters have been found wanting against skillfull bowling and their bowlers same have not found success comparatively due to application and skill level of our batters and not because of their stupid excuses, better conditions, Morkel injury [yes it is a handicap but Virat, Pujara have played Steyn who is the spear head with success], also it is annoying to hear them repeating again and again trying to relate we have a mediocre bowling attack lol, then ur batters suck big time don't they lol

I have no idea why people saying zak bowled poorly. Insanity Bowled supeb and was crucial in bowling them out. Looked as good as in peak. Complete control of ball, swinging both ways, reversing like a mofo.. And of course the brillinat mind, set up smith beautifully for example 2 out swingers and then indipper to snare him lbw You mofos are so ungrateful. Total genius this bloke and was masterful in 1st innings
Only bowled well the next day, was not that great the day before, lacked control, too many half trackers, short and wide along with loopy harmless half volleys on that day. At once, was going 4 rpo conceded 48 runs in 12 overs before tea just before that Ishant burst. I hope he will get better wrt control because he is the one who we can depend on not giving to many lose balls unlike Ishant or Umesh.

He will take some time.but how he pulled up on day 3 morning session and bowled 130-137ks is a good sign.Zak plays a huge role mentoring the bowlers and that yorker was lovely.
Yes, he certainly was better on day 3, but will need to control those half volleys and short and wide stuff. We did not see much of them from Saffie pacers. They were far more consistent than our bowlers.

More than hall volleys, I was pissed because of too much gentle short and wide stuff from both Ishant and Zak. Shami was far better than both in first innings but they got more wickets. Shami conceded 4 boundaries in 18 overs that was brilliant consistency from him. Both Ishant and Zak 20 plus.

Looking at the pitch' date=' and the history of the results , it won't be a bad idea to play ashwin. He might pick us wickets but I would like to see jadeja replacing him...✳☀✳✳✳⭐❇...he is a better batsman in my humble opinion...☝[/quote'] Ashwin is certainly a better batsman. He plays the short deliveries well and has time to play pace bowlers. Jaddu also has a tendency to waft outside off stump. Also as a bowler, Ashwin has more variations and can flight the ball while Jaddu is more of a darter and will stop runs at best. Unless wickets offers lots of turn which is usually not the case in SA (even in Durban), Jaddu wont be that effective.
