Quoting historical facts to denote the present. Louda hai kya? Pakistan was historically good, no one's denying that. But now they are crap is also a tautology. Why quote historical W/L ratios. This year India's W/L ratio has been 2.12 while Pakistan's is nearly four times lower (0.69).
Well facts can be twisted any number of ways. India have played a shyteload at home I'd be interested to see what the W/L for Pakistan would be if they were playing at home. I'm pretty sure their record at Karachi and Lahore are very dominant. But anyways the point was SA choking this game, you would see it that way, but thankfully commentators and pundits describe it how it actually was. Very good bowling at the death.

Very difficult for most Indians to give credit to the paki team. If India would have won a ODI series in South Africa, we would all be going bonkers now. It is great achievement by the paki team but most here are belittling it.

well done pakistan. this again proves that get in new blood and you will see results. India succeeded this year getting in newer lot and now pakistan doing it with guys like bhatti, anwar ali and maqsood. South Africa sticking with chokers kallis and smith. hope we drop yuvraj and raina too and get in more young blood

Misbah was in tears..anyone saw that???:hysterical:
You mean after the win ? Dont blame the guy , he is leading a bunch of rookies , has-beens who have no business playing international cricket, no backup from its board or for that matter fans; yet winning in SA. He deserves this win.

You want to see what the W/L ratio for Pakistan playing at home was. I'll show you: Pakistan at home since 2003WC (till SL attack) W - 22 L - 21 W/L - 1.04 So much for Pakistan dominating at home. Out of those 22 wins most are against weak teams like WI and NZ. They lost 2 series each to SA and Ind at home plus a series to SL. There goes the myth of Pakistan being a "great team at home" Pakistan in UAE (Since SL attack) W - 11 L - 19 W/L - 0.57 The W/L reduces further due to retirement of Inzy, Youhana etc. As for India playing a "shyteload" at home India's away/neutral record (last 5 years) W - 48 L - 27 W/L - 1.48 (Far far better than Pakistan's "home" record before the exile) India's home record (last 5 years) W - 35 L - 23 W/L - 2.33 Ofc India's home record is far far better but our away record is very impressive in it's own right. In the same period Pak's away/neutral record (no excuses for not playing at home) W - 27 L - 37 W/L - 0.77 (nearly half of our 1.48)

Great achievement. Fantastic last over by Junaid. 4 yorkers in the block hole. 11 needed off last 2 overs with 5 wickets in hands. You can count on RSA to still choke and lose the match comfortably.
