Number Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 I am not going to waste my time with someone who thinks the combination of Yadav' date=' Shami, Aaron etc [b']'can be the greatest bowling attack in our history..':phehehe: Can't rule that out, can you ? Blame the bar set by the trundlers of yesteryears. Not even a single fast bowler with sub 30 avg. Pathetic.
putrevus Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Speed is not everything they do need some skill to it but not when they are trundling at 120s.
ShebbySB Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Since when has pissu become a swing bowler, pandey is not a lively bowler, pankaj is fine ,we should have groomed Anwar Ahmed sent from dil se Bhuvi my bad bro.
ShebbySB Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 You must be talking about a different ishant! Meant BK,my bad.
express bowling Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 someone who thinks the combination of Yadav' date=' Shami, Aaron etc [i']'can be the greatest bowling attack in our history..':phehehe: Don't know about bowling attack but it does not take much to be the best pace attack in our history. We have never had 2 pacers with more than 100 test wickets at that point in time and average of less than even 33 or SR of less than 50, bowling in tandem in tests. Also, we have never had any pacer with over 200 wickets with average less than 27 or SR less than 50 in tests. So, not too difficult to beat the standard set by our pacers till date.
express bowling Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Speed is not everything they do need some skill to it but not when they are trundling at 120s. Why talk about only pace or only skill ? Let's find some pacers who have a bit of both, like most countries with good pace attacks do. If fast bowlers are like Ishant and are unable to pick up skills as they play, then I don't want them in our test team.
bulbul Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 People are draeming if phassst bowlers are going to play 50+ tests in this IPL era :giggle:
King Tendulkar Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 I am not going to waste my time with someone who thinks the combination of Yadav' date=' Shami, Aaron etc [i']'can be the greatest bowling attack in our history..':phehehe: Being silly now arent you
King Tendulkar Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Why talk about only pace or only skill ? Let's find some pacers who have a bit of both, like most countries with good pace attacks do. . Exactly
Crookbond Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Interesting to see "predictions" just 3 months down the line.
Sean Bradley Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 He has got the ingredients...give him time to settle...just an off day at work.
Crookbond Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Aaron ODI bowling innings list. There's a similarity in the Econ column. No code has to be inserted here.
putrevus Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 let him play more than 10 matches before we judge this guy , he has not played matches due to injuries.
FischerTal Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 let him play more than 10 matches before we judge this guy ' date=' he has not played matches due to injuries.[/quote'] Pishant will be given 40 matches on the trot if he makes a comeback :nice:
Pagalpanti Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 He has pace, just needs some confidence. Should get a good run with the side
King Tendulkar Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 He has pace' date=' just needs some confidence. Should get a good run with the side[/quote'] Absolutley If after England tour has been a mess then make judgement. But right now him and yadav need a run and be backed
putrevus Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Our batsmen who break into the team are eased into action by giving not putting too much pressure and giving them lee way to fail but when it comes to bowlers nobody is patient. If guy who has pace gets hit in few matches he is branded as bowler with no control instead of encouraging them on how to become better without sacrificing speed we turn them into this line and length trundlers who have no chance of succeeding once batsmen go after them. Yadav got hit in WI was replaced ASAP by of all people the great Trundler Vinay kumar who had/has zero chance of ever becoming an impact bowler. Yadav has been riding the pine ever since. if Aaron suffers the same fate after this match Indian team does not deserve fast bowlers.
Lord Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 needs to be backed but atm just looks like faster version of Ishant.he looks okay on helpful wickets so maybe he should play away tours for now
