No trying to defend Rohit... But Steyn said recently during pak series was that lot of batsmen cant figure out if the ball is going out or coming in after he pitches the ball.. Sharma thought its gonna go out after pitching in middle and off and hence left it alone..

With reverse swing its harder.Wasim said in an interview sometimes when bowler does not know where it will go after pitching on seam what chance batsman has.Many times batsman play for outswinger and the ball seams in.

You have to stop taking everything on your heart. It's fine to support a player, but you can't come up with "Rohit was unlucky" Unlucky was someone like Murali Vijay, who would have probably gotten his 100 yesterday if not for the bad light. And today started the new day and flicked one on leg. That is unlucky. I am all right with Rohit in the team right now. He deserves his chance. But I won't deny he played pretty poorly so far.
