Pankaj was an inch taller than Ishant when they went for Aussie tour 2007-08 but he was far too slow then and now has gained 10k of pace with help of mayrick pringle, their bowling coach.

Ravikiran of Hyderabad is one tall seamer. He was fast tracked, I think last year when Sunil Joshi was their coach. Did not do good last season, but seems to be getting more wickets this season. Anwar Ahmed is the other one, but I guess injured this season.

We might see Ravi Kiran in action live against Kerala from 30th. He is said to be quick and has done decently this season. We will see how true it is. Sandeep Warrier too. Hope, they prepare a good track.

If Pankaj is bowling the way I have seen him bowl lasr season he will be the second best bowler in India after Shami, he bowls around 137 to 138 k and tops to about 144 k, gets good bounce and seam movement, bowls long spells and can bowl to a plan and now smart enough to plan a batsmen out, it is a shame he is not playing for us and if Modi wins RCA elections then we will not see him at all, he and Aniket Choudhurey to is exciting prospect. Anwar Ahmed is not playing this season for Hyderabad but looked to be really good last year and more the year before, Pandey also is good enough to be in India test squad, its time Zak and Ishant especially Zak be pushed out, lets try Pankaj, Pandey and Suyal as he is a left hander and has good pace and domestic stats, except this year due to problems within DDCA and Nehra playing he is not getting a regular go . It says a lot that withing this experienced or so called experienced Indian bowling attack only Shami is good and Zak and Ishant suck, so why not give Aaron, Umesh, Pankaj, Pandey , Suyal a go.

He is getting better. Pitching the ball on the seam. I wouldn't want him to be dropped when he is getting better and showing that he is putting in hard work to get better.

Can't Pankaj change his Ranji Team to get into more eyes of fans and media ? Haven't seen bowling him in IPL too.... If he is prime bowler if Rajasthan then why doesn't RR gave him chance ? They are famous of giving chances to new talent. IIRC Pankaj was selected once for team India touring Zimbabwe with Raina as captain
