I am just happy and would take either result because I know our new guns would have tried their best. Rewind back few years from now and if this was full of our legends, then it would have hurt to see team go down. But in this case, these are all new players who have already shown some good signs and fought the good fight. More power to them. Come on young India.

I feel that if I'm close to a win or outperformed a team and didn't win, I would be beyond angry, more angry than getting thrashed. I feel that it is the same for the Aussie cricket team like quite a while.

The 8-0 humiliation was far worse than this (potential) 1-0 loss.

Sure you would think 'I'm so close but I can compete' but I see it as 'We were close and we messed up, we should have won,' The 8-0 drubbing was more to the fact that India was not good enough, not even close.

Even when Aussie, etc were rebuilding i dont think their fans expected so low from their team. No wonder even after loss, after loss there is no change in the team or management. We are happy with our home WC wins and CT wins

Which means they will lose regular wickets without adding many runs. Which means they will lose. Unless South Africa choke making the 50 odd runs they will need to in the 2nd innings. TOLD'Ya
