Expensive is only a problem if no wickets. If Umesh can do 12-0-70-3 then go for it! Yes dsr - he should be persisted with and hopefully he can develop.

in tests he will get 4-5 spells and he is type of bowler who an come good atleast in one of them also shami is fairly accurate might have been expensive here cos he was the only one attacking and jaddu is also tight and i am sure 4th bowler will also be tight so we can use umesh yadav also we have already seen even with accurate tundlers we allow sides to chase 450 almost dont think expensive wicket taker will hurt us at all in our case

I know most dont agree but I dream of this genuine pace attack Yadav, Shami, Aaron and Jadeja(spinner). All 3 genuine pacers. All capable of bowling odd 90mph ball. and generally all 85 mph plus. Batters wont belive this is India they are facing, pace all the time both ends!

This attack, barring Jadeja, will get a Royal thrashing. 2 out of these 3 are bound to fail in any given match leaving too much load on the third pacer. What we need is a out-and-out pacer, a seamer who can extract bounce, and a swinger capable of conventional and reverse swing.

your dream will come true very soon. aaron is having a great domestic season. i'd put money on him returning to the indian team for the england tour if he finishes amongst the top wicket takers (very likely). yadav is already part of the squad, if zaheer and ishant continue to be as ineffective as they have been in the last 3 innings, he is an easy inclusion. shami is locked in as the 3rd seamer. that will be probably be india's bowling attack for the entire england tour.

Many people seem to be underestimating NZ. Yeah, they are ranked very low but that's mainly because they are really poor while playing away from home. South Africa were able to win 1-0, England were only able to draw, WI were thrashed. They even drew the series in Australia when they got a green pitch. In home conditions they are going to be a real challenge. They have a much better seam attack than India's and with Rutherford, Taylor, Williamson, McCullum have a decent batting lineup as well.
