Min figures being quoted at 48 and max being quoted are 65 its better to die than take those anti national MIM support.

UP/Bihar/WB is still out of reach. But as far as Western India is concerned, Baaam (assuming BJP/MNS win in MH). Even if Haryana stays with Hooda (who is all for reforms and industry anyways), they can really zoom through with Delhi mumbai industrial corridor development. Karnataka really f'ed up voting Congis into state. Now Chennai-Mumbai corridor will be languishing for the next few years. Anyways, don't want to put the cart before the horse. Again by all exit polls for state assembly elections coming out BJP-TDP set to win 15-25 seats in Telangana. With the BJP expected to get 6-12 seats in those. The TRS wont mind taking BJP support but wants to bury the TDP in Telangana. So if BJP give them support on the outside and the numbers add up they will take it as their first choice. second choice will be MIM./independents.third choice will be forming state gov with congress. Thats if say TRS finish with 40 and congress finish with 30. The problem for the TRS is that they are a rural Telangana party with not much presence in Hyderabad metropolitan area. Which forms about 20% of assembly segments. So they need a hyderabad based political party to partner them. I think given a choice TRS will want to win enough seats on their own and either go with BJP or MIM in hyderabad for future elections.

They really need to build their base in Andhra pradesh and they need to start by standing on their own two feet in the hyderabad metropolitan area. Need to be in a position to win 10-15 assembly seats on a regular basis in hyderabad. they have no base in seemandhra at all. So its going to be some time before BJP makes any inroads in that place.

Although, surprisingly, they are starting to gain popularity among Jats (I chalk that upto the patented Jat Buddhi). Hopefully, BJP won't support (or ask) these shameless crooks (if it comes to that). Frankly, this is one state in the country where I would not have a problem with Congress winning (partially due to lack of better alternatives and partially due to Hooda being Pro Industry). I think a BJP government at the centre will have no problem dealing/collaborating with a Hooda government. (unless Maino Mafia have different plans and begin to remote control)

Its an EC rule but what's the purpose behind it? Why is EC has these rules? can't give interview, interviews can't be paid, non-locals can't be at certain places.. etc... Late in the evening, however, the returning officer, Varanasi DM Pranjal Yadav, gave sanctions for Modi's meeting with the intellectuals and the Ganga puja, but refused to budge on the public meeting at Beniabagh. By then the BJP had already withdrawn its applications for the events. It said it was no longer interested in holding the activities it had planned because the deliberate delay had ensured they had no time to publicize them. In a late night presser, Pranjal Yadav said there were security related inputs in an IB report. The permission for Modi's rally at Beniabagh was denied on that basis, he said. Permission for Modi's other public meetings had been granted, Yadav said, adding he was acting as per the EC's directives. The saffron outfit seemed all set to turn its protest into another show of saffron strength in Modi's constituency. It announced that Modi will drive down from the helipad near Banaras Hindu University to the party office at Rath Yatra in the city in what will mark a dramatic twist to his campaign for a second Lok Sabha seat. The stage for what will essentially be a roadshow will be set in the forenoon itself with party leaders Arun Jaitley and Amit Shah holding a dharna near the BHU gate. The party was already into the attack mode. "This is what happens when weak persons are appointed to constitutional positions," said Jaitley. "Even as the EC remains preoccupied with monitoring the speeches of individual candidates, booth capturing, which had vanished, has staged a comeback under them," he further said. "Local authorities who were directly in charge of the law and order have their assessment in the matter," said deputy EC Vinod Zutshi. "The Commission is tracking the matter and will do everything under law and within its mandate o conduct free, fair, and peaceful polls. The Commission does not accept the insinuations of inaction and bias in this regard," Zutshi added. The provocation for the protest came from what Jaitley described as the partisan conduct of the returning officer. In his letters to the EC as well, while talking to reporters, the BJP leader said DM Yadav denied them the permission to hold the rally at Beniabagh after having assured them that the venue would be allotted to BJP for one of the rallies that Modi wanted to hold in the city before campaign ends in the constituency on May 10. Jaitley said the returning officer told them on May 5 that he had blocked the Beniabagh ground for BJP and that they will be given the permission once they had submitted a formal application. "However, he chose to allot the ground to the NGO of one Khan who suddenly decided to hold a flag hoisting event there.
