Temujin Khaghan
with the way rohit sharma has been batting recently, kohli has been a 3rd opener for quite some time now. Link to comment
GolGappe
Rayudu for Rahane would be an apple-to-apple comparison. Personally, I wouldn't be too comfortable with either one of them in my starting XI for the world cup. Raina at number 6 is not a bad bet considering the lack of power hitters in the Indian ODI squad. He is not good enough to bat at number 4 or 5 but can be handy in slog overs. Link to comment
gattaca
title of the thread is "From what you have seen from Rayudu today, would you support dropping Raina?" its anyways asking us to speculate and i wrote what i felt based on what i saw. Just how despite two back to back 60+ scores at good SR i dont think Jaddu is the perfect no 7 He played short ball than Raina. Unles u r dhoni or csk it makes 0 sense. Link to comment
cowboysfan
Jaddu atleast knows where the fielders are at all times,he will take whats on offer.the same cannot be said of rohit and rayudu. Link to comment
Pagalpanti
No.4 is a position tailor-made for batsman like Yuvi, who can pick singles regularly. Hitting boundaries at will like UV was an added bonus though. Rahane seemed to get stuck, have to see more of Rayudu to judge him. Link to comment
urbestfriend
Too harsh to judge from one match, I would like to give him 5-6 matches on trot before judging him. Link to comment
cricketman
One of the best sights in world cricket MS Dhoni in the end of an One Day International. Knows how to play it perfectly. quick singles and immense power. Greatest finisher EVER. Link to comment

rkt.india
Just because someone whined you don't have do the same thing.Indian team being no1 side when series started playing against no 8 side should not even talk of this nonsense. I could understand these talks when playing against bowlers like Steyn and co but common playing against trundlers like southie and Anderson if you are talking about bounce and alien conditions then you as captain of no1 side should be ashamed. You may lose to any team it is a sport it happens, but not this whining against an inferior side. When did Dhoni talk about pitches in this series? These pitches are flat anyway. Link to comment
Talwar Raja
Seems like he got out pulling a short pitch delivery. Lol. Link to comment
Ultimate_Game
If Rayudu gets in the team he should bat at 5 or 6. #4 seems way too high for him. Link to comment
gaurav92
Kohl has opened before so' date=' it was not out of the blue.[/quote'] Yeah he made his debut as an opener ! Link to comment
gattaca
40+ dot balls He got out trying to cover that. But if u see he played most of the short deliveries well and he was the only indian batsmen in this series to take on Nathan McCollum. Link to comment
gaurav92
Place him at No. 5 adn Dhoni should come up at No. 4. Link to comment
