Everyone here has pretty much said what I was going to say anyway re: technical issues but further to the point, he shouldn't be playing shorter forms imo (at any level), at least not for a year or two, until he fixes up his technical issues. Ishant doesn't need it and the team certainly doesn't need him Ishant should look at Peter Siddle as an example. He is purely a Test specialist. Ishant could use the IPL time to go play in county teams. If he did that for a year or two, he could potentially be the leader of our pace attack. However, it comes down to attitude with Ishant.

One thing I like about this guy is that he is hard worker Brain dead but still hard worker and if he only can get little things right he has all the gifts needed to be a good bowler that is height ,decent pace which he seems to lose for no reason and fitness He is rarely injured just some body request him to play county :((

He has done well here but the question that has to be asked is has he improved or are NZ batsmen not good enough ? I'm worried because he will find a place in the side on the basis of this performance for the tough tours of Eng and Aus and he may prove to be crap against them. His average in Eng, SA, Aus is 61 and strike rate is 102. Even a part timer will do way better than that and these are conditions which are helpful for seamers.

Combination of both ? Some deliveries have been unplayable or atleast deserved wickets while others have been weak batting No ball wicket to Williamson came in bounced and took inside edge ...I just don't get why he is getting movement here ... Might do ok away from home even in England if other 2 bowlers are good enough but cannot rely on him ..what dhoni needs to do is drop him at first sign of non performance cos he keeps getting worse after each match

Hold on, I m not saying he is bad. In Auckland test and in Durban, he is average. Even in J'berg he went too many runs in 4th innings. Not a bad performance by any means, but he has set himself some high expectations.

Cos he was easily best bowler in South Africa from our side was unlucky in first game with drops and lbw not being given He deserved atleast 3 more wickets and one each of Faf and abdv Even in first game plumb was not given twice but he turned around whole match for us how does he look lost ? Even today he bowled so well and picked wickets..do u know he is averaging 25 now with strike rate of 43? :winky: I don't know what matches u see but he is one guy who is always searching for way to get wickets hardly seems to be lost and he is always mentally strong enough to bounce back from bad performance unlike others
