As I said earlier Yadav won't play a test til dhoni is there..so he can bid adieu to his intl career and hope that dhoni retires or banned (overrate).. I bet dhoni will play pishant,zak ahead of Yadav,bhuvi in England

As a matter of fact any bowler taking 15+ wickets in a 2 test series that is tied 1-1 deserves to get MoS. Credit where it is due because lambu has given a good performance in this test series for sure. I won't even respond to all the 'shami critics' because that imo is pure trolling... Shami is the only bowler in our side that has bowled with heart and used his skill as best as he can. He is a rookie for goodness sakes! To complicate matters even further he has dhobi as his captain and a horrible support cast so that doesn't help either.

He has done well here but the question that has to be asked is has he improved or are NZ batsmen not good enough ? I'm worried because he will find a place in the side on the basis of this performance for the tough tours of Eng and Aus and he may prove to be crap against them. His average in Eng, SA, Aus is 61 and strike rate is 102. Even a part timer will do way better than that and these are conditions which are helpful for seamers.
He had a spell in one of the tests in England where he was unplayable! Castled KP who was in great form. Problem with him is consistency. He gets carried away. In Australia though he was totally rubbish. Trying to bowl too fast and lost his composure. Ishant has a lot of things riding for him. Height and as a result the extra bounce, can hit 135-138 easily and has a lethal in-swinger. He just needs to realize it and not try too many things.

If continues and has a renaissance of sort he will be more like Imran Khan than Kapil dev. Kapil Dev in first 5 years was runaway success He won world cup as captain too, he was improving all the time it is only after his knee operation in 1984 he slowed down. Where as Imran took almost decade to get his bowling sorted out , if Ishant becomes even half decent as Imran Khan he will do himself lot of good.
