But yeah that was a shameful episode that captured perfectly Dhoni's negative mindset and why his overseas record is appalling.

If we bat like Pakistan half the time we would not cross 300. We have also done things like chasing 380 odd thanks to Viru. Remember Srilanka making 390 odd at 4 an over. Viru wiped off deficit in a matter of 2 sessions :cantstop: .

Honestly I cudnt belive that time, there was another similar situation match when Pak was required around 120 in 18 odd overs vs SA in UAE and they did not went for it, not making even a try was disappointing but I was OK considering Pakistani batting performances but with lineup india had that was a shocker...

Team has to show the effort and will to win. In the match OP is talking about, apart from Vijay (in bits) no one else showed any intent. Dravid dropped anchor but was still too slow. If we were going at 3-3.5 maybe then it could've been considered.
