Umesh Yadav and Bhuvneshwar Kumar complement each other perfectly and can form an excellent bowling partnership both in Tests and ODIs.

India misses a fast bowler and a left arm swing bowler. Zak and RP complemented each other brilliantly in 2007. We don't have pair of bowlers to do that job. Jaddu is nowhere in the league of Kumble. This attack can be blunted very easily as the match goes on even after a collapse.

We haven't had a consistent pacer for a long time. They will bowl well in one series, look the real deal ... only to become ordinary and inconsistent later on.

In England and similar swing friendly conditions, Bhuvi surely is our best seamer. For a very long time, medium paced swing bowlers have done very well in England. We won the WC in 1983 using our gentle medium pacers, mainly Mohinder Amarnath but also Binny, Sandhu, Madan Lal. In 1986 , we won the test series using medium paced swing bowlers ... Binny, Chetan, Madan, Sandhu etc. Later on ... simular bowlers like Prabhakar, Praveen Kumar etc. did well. We have to see which of our pacers is taking wickets when the conditions are not overtly favourable to swing and seam movement. For the last few years , nobody has done it and only 3 pacers .... Kapil, Srinath and , to some extent, Zaheer has done it in our history. I am looking forward to see which Indian pacer takes test wickets under neutral conditions.
