Number Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Funny he never criticised Ishant like this. And now probably he will bring him back after calling other bowlers brainless in public. The realist story will gain weight.:giggle:
adi B Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 not a single post by realist?or am i missing something :omg:
ThePhenomenal1 Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 dont attack the houses (except ishant's), attack the bcci buildings, protest at ipl games, ranji games etc. dont watch ipl or buy any merch.
saneindian Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Kohli, Pujara or anyone else who becomes a captain is not going to change the mentality of the set of fans who specialize in being abusive. People who are abusing Dhoni today will find their new targets and continue to abuse them aided by new alibis. Case in point, go back to the threads from the Zim series . Kohli was called a chaploos, a yes man, insecure when he did not pick Pujara as opener and toeing the political line by ignoring Rasool. That was when the 2nd string squad under him was still winning.

King Tendulkar Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Disagree. Dhonis house needs stoning asap
saneindian Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 It will be good for Kohli and Indian cricket if he does not become captain till 2015. Whenever he or anyone else gets the captaincy, they too will get their share of abuses (not just criticism) from the usual suspects
CSK Fan Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 If the batsmen keep getting bowled out for 200-220 every other match he woud blame the batsman. Why does he have to blame them when in nearly all the matches batting ends up with 270+? I meant the batsmen like Rohit who have failed and failed and failed and he did not have one word against him. And I see how you conveniently skirted the Ishant issue.
CSK Fan Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Whenever he or anyone else gets the captaincy' date=' they too will get their share of abuses (not just criticism) from the usual suspects[/quote'] Of course if he commits blunders he will be criticized unlilke some people who fall hopelessly in love with their captain and are blind to all ills
Magneto Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Whenever he or anyone else gets the captaincy' date=' they too will get their share of abuses (not just criticism) from the usual suspects[/quote'] Getting criticised/abused is part of the game. I don't think it's a big deal, as long as the abuses are not way OTT. A new young captain should ideally come in either when the team is in doldrums or when the team is doing really well. That way the expectations would be less and the captain would find more time to sort himself out. For eg. when Ganguly took over, expectations were zilch and everything that happened thereafter seemed like a big bonus. When Dhoni took over the T20 side, expectations were zilch again. When he took over the Test side, we were a rock solid team and already the World No.2, and he was fairly experienced as well. That is the way to bring in and groom a new captain.

That was when the 2nd string squad under him was still winning. First of all, there have been very valid reasons given by Dhoni critics on the failure of bowling. Some people have written really eloquent and very valid points. I can see you have completely ignored all those reasons and gone on generic ad-hoc attacks about abuses and hating and mentality which to me shows you do not have any counter point and are taking recluse in generic statements Secondly, this was even predicted by Dhoni critics before the series and each match that playing two spinners, taking of fast bowelrs after 10 overs, etc, will bite big time in the ass. Guess what, all those prediction came true so in the end the critics were proved right Thirdly most of the criticism has been made very well and is far from being abusive or targeting someone as you falsely claim
Lannister Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 They deserve every criticism coming their way. They conceded 300+ runs in each and every odi since the oz series. How can you justify that? I wonder why they keep getting selected. PATHETIC
saneindian Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Of course if he commits blunders he will be criticized unlilke some people who fall hopelessly in love with their captain and are blind to all ills Aah so being abusive to players is fine. Why dont you join in as well. Maybe lead a procession to Dhoni's house and throw a few stones as well if it helps?

Laaloo Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Disagree. Dhonis house needs stoning asap So why dont you take flight to Ranchi from your hometown Bradford and stone his house? Punk
cowboysfan Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 I just don't see what a new captain can do other Than some cosmetic stuff, our bowlers are still one of the worst in international cricket.
vvvslaxman Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Dhoni should have done this long long back when India was conceding regularly 300 plus totals. He is okay when pitch offers a bit of spin or spinners come in to play like Jadeja in CT. When spinners don't take wickets he is at wits end.
mancalledsting Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 So why dont you take flight to Ranchi from your hometown Bradford and stone his house? Punk Chill out Aaloo
Marut Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Disagree. Dhonis house needs stoning asap Ouch. The price of stardom.
vvvslaxman Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 May be we should try "John Buchanan" theory of multiple captains lol Bowling captain
