Mitchell Johnson was always way more talented than Zak but never fulfilled his promise in his early years. Now he is bowling like a 'once in a generation bowler' as Lillee touted many years ago.

Zak is cleverer bowler then Johnson Zak has more repeatable action But But Johnson is much more effective and better bowler. Why is that? Johnson has only one attribute which he has better then Zak. This question is for trundler fans. What is that one attribute which makes Johnson miles better? Jhonson has a hot wife but Zak does not :dontknow:
NareshK Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Zak doesnt have pace and his action is not slingy like Johnson's. Another important thing is Zak doesnt put a lot of body in his action. He doesnt bend his back and hit the deck and doesnt get bounce or pace of the pitch like SA, Aus or NZ bowlers. He mostly floats the ball across the surface looking for swing. This is a characteristic of most Indian seamers.

Some pace bowlers. One thing to say they need to be nurtured and another to project them as if they are the second coming of Marshall just because they can clock 90mph. Enough of this non-sense. Take a great fast bowler like ambrose, cherry pick his dying years when slowed down a bit as some example of why 78 mph bowling is the way forward:haha: Some one in another thread was trying to use Dennis Lilles last few years as an example of why 78 mph bowling was good. We know the future what indian fans want. Unadkunt, Vinnay, Sandeep Sharma, Binny and co. The future is bright, the future is trundling
