Pagalpanti
Talha is a 6'2-3" tall guy while Shami is short about 5'9". On slow pitches' date=' bouncers are a bad idea for him unless he is clocking 150K.[/quote'] Only if we had a bowling coach to tell him that.. oh wait we do but the chewtiya does nothing but take our bowling to new lows after every series Link to comment
rkt.india
Only if we had a bowling coach to tell him that.. oh wait we do but the chewtiya does nothing but take our bowling to new lows after every series I have rarely seen his bouncers having any real effect on batsmen. His pace 138-140 with that short height is not quick enough to bowl them as he has to pitch them really short to get them up on slow and low bounce tracks. If he was taller, then it could have been a different thing. Link to comment

Sometimes that just messes you up as you r trying too many things. Even Bhuvy. They keep changing field every 2-3 balls, sometimes even go around the wicket. Why don't they just stick to bowling in one place and let the pitch do the rest. Pakistani pacers did that excellently except Junaid. IIRC Gul didn't bowl a bouncer to Rohit after the one that went for 6. Link to comment

Old guy
How did he do? Rotated bowlers better but field placing was nothing special should have attacked more at start Link to comment
Laaloo
Seems as if it's not only Dhoni who believes in Kohlis bowling Link to comment
Insidious
One thing is sure Kohli loves genuinely fast bowler. whether its RCB or Indian team Link to comment
express bowling
Kohli has looked proactive as a captain today. Has picked genuine quicks and used them well. Good to see an Indian captain pick two of the fastest bowlers in India and back them too. The powerplay decision was interesting . Let's hope he can continue in this vein when he gets the chance. Easier said than done though. Link to comment
zubinpepsi
Virat's Captaincy I am really impressed... He backed his fast bowlers...took the PP in the 20s..also promoted Raina to No.3 Very refreshing compared to dhobi... I don't know if Virat's will be a successful captain. But his support for real fast bowlers is heartening to see.. Link to comment

vvvslaxman
If Akshar keeps outperforming Ashwin and Jaddu' date=' it will be difficult to drop him.[/quote'] Ashwin should definitely be out . Jaddu atleast fields well. So it is a straight shootout between Axar and Jaddu. Jaddu on his day a bigger hitter than Axar. But Axar looks more a proper batsman with the ability of consolidation with proper cricket. In terms of bowling both are pretty much darters. Link to comment
