You can say same with Rahane that he has been given a decent run but was still persisted with, even played tests after a big failure in Delhi. But like Rahane, Yadav too did not get a consistent run. He was played and dropped. I remember he was called to bowl in 25th over in a CB series match by Dhoni. Even if he was the best pacer from both sides in the last test he played, he has not played a single test after that.

express bowling Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 A couple of bad matches after a one and a half year break. And people have decided that he is crap. Disappointing. I not really worried about him giving away 9 runs per over in a match . Anybody can have an off day. To me, the only worrying thing is that , even at 140 to 150 k, Aaron was not hurrying any batsmen. Shami looked quicker than him. Is he losing more than normal pace after pitching.? He needs to work on his pace and bounce off the deck as , even on NZ tracks, batters had sufficient time to play him.

Exactly, we can teach control to someone who bowls 150 but how the hell you increase pace from 130 to 150 for all our other bowlers who have the so call control. Aaron needs a longer run.

One concern though is that hes Injury prone , after investing a lot of time in him we will be screwd if he gets Injured during the WC .

As for bowlers who can take wickets abroad , I think practice matches for bowlers plays an equally important role as for batsmen . Am not saying they have bowled well , but they get very little time to adapt to conditions .
