There were fixers in cricket matches as well.Cricket was popular but more concentrated in cities and towns. Now if you go to villages you will see the difference. Link to comment

Now if you go to villages you will see the difference. I already explained you lot of other things have changed in villages too From electricity to having tv which played much more bigger role than anything else It's pure economic development and sports always benefits from it Link to comment
rkt.india
They won't have any power to have control now No way srini will be allowed to come back after this ther are lot of other power hungry people :cantstop: Srini is not under investigation but CSK and Mayyapan. Srini has conflict of interest and till he he owns CSK, he should not be working in BCCI. Link to comment
rkt.india
Give credit to indian economy and tax payers for that.Bcci is one of the most corrupt organizations on the planet with resources available ' date='the facilities are average.[/quote'] BCCI is not corrupt at all in terms of economic irregularities. All BCCI posts are honorary. They do not get a penny from BCCI funds. They are inept rather than corrupt. Link to comment
jf1gp_1
It all now depends on how Sunny wants to play. He is court appointed so he has the freedom to do whatever he wants. Any obstacle from current BCCI babus and he can go back to court. His choice if he wants to expose all the corruption or wants to be the one who takes corruption/ mis-management forward. South_Paw
courts objective was to ensure that the investigation would be fair' date=' for that he had to step down as BCCI president. it is not trying to pass a verdict on srinis innocence or guilt.[/quote'] I know that. Few of the ICFers were discussing yesterday if the court would stop his ICC proceedings. Just wanted to make that clear. Link to comment

rkt.india
he might have 5 crore or more per year BCCI president gets no money but if you have money, you can be BCCI president. People go for these posts for power and reputation. There is a reason Kumble left KSCA instead of leaving tenvic and his relation with IPL team because there he gets nothing. Link to comment
CSK Fan
Less than what he is making right now. The supreme court has asked him to immediately let go of all other BCCI contracts he has, including all commentary contracts. Supreme court has also asked BCCI to compensate Gavaskar for the money lost as a result of this Link to comment
someone
Will it be like our Congress government? Like MMS in remote control. How much power will Gavaskar usually be having? Link to comment
