First of all absolutely irrelevant points but I will still answer them NRR was not a factor in that elimination, inability to defend 290 against the might Bangladesh team was. That tournament had head to head as a factor and not NRR. If we didn't defend 290, I see no reason we could have defended 320 either. But main point is, you have to be cognizant of what is and what is not important in each series. There are definitely things not under your control (like what the batsmen does in the middle, his form, etc) but there are other factors in your control (stressing the importance of NRR to your team members, etc) Secondly, when you have already made mistakes in the past (losing out because of NRR), you should learn from the mistakes and make sure you do not repeat them again. You can be ignorant once but not every time. From the reactions, there was a clear lack of urgency and communication in the entire team. Clearly NRR was not even discussed as a strategy No captain can control the uncontrollable, but he can definitely strategize and tell everyone what is the priority. If a batsman is struggling post that, nothing much you can do

I agree. I am not trying to belittle your team here. It is the make up of the format and your brittle batting. BD will find India tough to beat but Bangla bowlers can trouble your batting. I clearly said they can beat India too..but BD has a better chance against Pak

Yuvi made a 19 ball 10 and our NRR is + 0.363. let us suppose he should have made a 7 ball 10, thus gaining us 2 overs. This would make our NRR at +0.75. This is still far less than group leaders WI @ + 1.75

People seem to be missing a simple point - going slow in the 1st 2 games has put us at risk of being eliminated if we have a lop-sided loss against Australia. If we had shown some intent, we could have minimized that risk or even eliminated it.
