Bazingaxd Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 http://bcove.me/txic0tam QQuXEBwDmy4 Boy goes viral imitating Ajmal and Afridi A Pakistani child has set the internet abuzz with a prodigious display of spin bowling and, more specifically, his impressive imitations of national team tweakers Saeed Ajmal and Shahid Afridi. The video has gone viral since its upload on Facebook and has been shared thousands of times by impressed cricket fans around the world. Encouraged from behind camera, the young man turns a couple of full deliveries back in from outside off, mimicking Ajmal's controversial action, before adding few paces to his run-up and ripping a leg-break sharply away outside off; Afridi-style. The boy completes his transformation into the former Pakistan captain with his last ball; crashing a leg-break into off-stump and raising his hands in the air - to the enthusiastic applause of onlookers. Despite bowling from half-way down the pitch, the would-be international superstar gets considerable turn out of what looks like a relatively hard surface. With Ajmal and Afridi approaching the twilights of their careers, Pakistani national selectors would be wise to keep an eye on this young man's development over the next couple of years. http://www.cricket.com.au/news-list/2014/4/9/pakistans-newest-spin-sensation

IndianRenegade Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Shabash ... you manage to turn a thread about a five year old kid into whining about Ajmal :two_thumbs_up: To be fair to him the article talks about the boy imitating Ajmal's controversial action.
putrevus Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Shabash ... you manage to turn a thread about a five year old kid into whining about Ajmal :two_thumbs_up: we want the kids to follow players who have clean action and you not having any issue with kids following guys like ajmal says more about yourself and not me, these are tender kids who have to be taught game right way.
Austin 3:!6 Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Hahaha..good video. Best part at 1.50 when he raises his arm like Afridi celebration. All the best to the kid :nice:
vvvslaxman Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 He is imitating Hafeez or Ajmal for sure. Good luck. Good to see young kids doing these things.
Midfielder Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Let the kid enjoy his childhood. +1. Put pressure on him ruin him for rest of his life. Let him enjoy. That kid can put some serious english on the ball.
Austin 3:!6 Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 How many of you think that Ajmal, Hafeez and Shoaib Malik all imitate Saqlain Mushtaq's action?
