BlueBee Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma has been fined after the team maintained a slow over rate during this evening’s Pepsi IPL match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Dubai. Since it was his first offence of the season under the IPL’s Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences, Mr. Sharma was fined US$20,000.
kubrickian Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Yeah, I noticed it took them nearly 2 hours to bowl 20 overs. In fact, all teams in IPL have been taking their sweet time to bowl the overs. The whole game should be over within 3 hours max. Anything longer is too slow for T20 format.
