velu Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 msd will change the team only when there is a do or die situation or someone does really bad
zubinpepsi Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Agree with that' date=' but some of our hunches are pretty good. I expected Vijay to play ahead of Parthiv way before...[b']Ashwin played his first IPL match neither batting nor bowling...Just wondering.... that how an a.hole dhobi.. u pick a specialist spinner. but u dont give him even 1 over but instead u let ur part timers (raina)bowl in that match  I am finding reasons for that dumb move... anyone can explain..
Roshanrocks Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Baba won't get a chance until Manhas gets to bat and fails.. Btw... does Manhas have any cricketing connections (BCCI)?
vvvslaxman Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Baba won't get a chance until Manhas gets to bat and fails.. Btw... does Manhas have any cricketing connections (BCCI)? HOnesly not much difference except Baba can bowl a bit

MSD selections of 11, and then use (or non-use, or 1-over spells) of the players in 11 is always extremely weird. No one cares about IPL, but he does such weird selections for Indian team also.
youngindia Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 full fledged and consistent shotmaking is not a young man's game.it takes experience and learning the few good knocks played in IPL from the younger guys have come from natural and heavy strikers of the ball like tiwary, manish, samson . baba is not a natural striker like chand or the above players.he will time better with experience and develop shots with experience. the results of playing upstarts is predictable-either they will get caught at long on like kohli did in his first few years....or they will do something stupid and get out like mayank the success of the csk is based on excellent strikers of the ball and experienced players. not likely to upset the applecart. even RR has changed tune...they are giving chance only to Samson,an exceptional striker ofcourse
BeautifulGame Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 hopefully plays tomorrow.Manhas is doing nothing anyway Very unlikely and unfair on Manhas as well. Did reasonably well both times he got to bat . CSK will play the same XI until top 2 spot is secured .
Lord Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Very unlikely and unfair on Manhas as well. Did reasonably well both times he got to bat . CSK will play the same XI until top 2 spot is secured . CSK are getting away with it due to solid starts by openers, but if they lose early wickets, they need someone to consolidate like Badri used to do.I think Baba can do that better than Manhas. plus can bowl handy offspin
