When will Dhoni play Aparajith?

This guy has immense potential - That was seen in the u-19 WC. Yet Dhoni refuses to take him in the side, he chooses Manhas instead - who is doing OK but nothing great. This is not the first time he's doing this.. Besides he is a handy bowler and can hold his wicket if needed...What's your take??

Well, perhaps the teams are actually right. There is training and a lot of things behind the scene to decide on the team playing XI. Whereas, what we fans decide on is just hype. Hype aren't a good reason at all for one to play.

Agree with that, but some of our hunches are pretty good. I expected Vijay to play ahead of Parthiv way before...Ashwin played his first IPL match neither batting nor bowling...Just wondering....

Apjrajith is not cut out to be a T20 batsman. He is poor man's Laxman. Plays proper cricket. Does not have enough power to slog. But a gun fielder though.

csk started with 4-5 tamil players. Badri Vijay etc have not been picked/departed..... only one Tamil player remains. LOL looks like CSK are going the way of Arsenal football club..... Only 4 tamil players play in the ipl on a regular basis this season Balaji Vijay DK and Ashwin.

same with every other team :dontknow: infact last yr RCBs playing xi had more tamil players than kannadigas .. pubjab let uv go and delhi not even bothered to retain sehwag for 2.5 crores
