Guys like Finch, Bailey and Maxwell aren't going to be as good against better bowlers and on faster pitches in Aus/NZ. Just because they aren't from the subcontinent doesn't mean they aren't just as much of flat/slow track bullies as Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma. Those 3 have only scored runs in t20 tournaments and/or in India against terrible bowling. Their bowlers will be very good though. Ryan Harris and Mitchell Johnson, and then all the talented youngsters like Starc, Pattinson etc along with the experienced guys like McKay etc.

Say what! Finch is hopeless on spin pitches! He is probably the biggest FTB around, and he gets those conditions in Australia in ODI's (flat pitches). Harris won't be playing, has already ruled himself out as he wants to play more test cricket. Bowling attack worries me a little, but Starc, Coulter Nile, MJ, McKay, Pattinson, Faulkner, with the spin options of James Muirhead and Maxwell will form the core.

Aussies are mentally tougher than Saffers. Plus they are as good a fielding unit as SA. Usually some random guy has time of his life in the world cup. May be an Ajmal or narine or Malinga. If Aussies are in form they are going to be unbeatable.

Spinners don't do that well in Australia unless you know the pitches like a Warne, MacGill or a Lyon or you are skilled enough like a Murali or a Kumble. Sri Lanka do well because the bowling works there. Kulusekhara is smart and you have Malinga. I expect a few green pitches in NZ as well along with some flat decks. I can see teams scoring 400 in NZ but not in Australia. However in saying that the two ball rule works really well here because of the swing that the bowlers can get. Several spinners will be ineffectively unless batting just plain sucks.
