I think one of his deliveries where he tries the doosra he does this...not sure..but have to observe closely. Another thing is we have to see video to be conclusive, its impossible not to straighten more than 15 degrees after this position and complete bowling though...imagine he might have to contort his spine to do that..get his ball delivered with exact same elbow bend..impossible but needs video. But the thing is umpires might be unwilling to do it because of Murali case, when BCCI and SLCB supported him tooth and nail and protected him with natural deformity case etc.

Ajmal has been the most consistent spinner in all formats for the past few years. But who cares if you are a padosi ... for you it only matters is what Torres does on sandtraps vs Windies and NZ .. not the fact that he only picked up three wickets in his last two away tours :P

It really depends how you define consistency. During the recent World T'20 when Herath, Ashwin, Mishra wrecked havoc Ajmal was taken to cleaners by Bravo and Sammy in all important match. Even Hafeez outbowled him in that game against India. When Dhawan was clearly struggling against Hafeez it took 3 boundaries off Ajmal's 1st over to break his shackles. During Champions trophy again the likes of Jadeja, Narine and Hafeez outbowled him. Ajmal could only pick 4 wickets in 3 games. If by consistent you mean perform in cool & cool cup and go hiding in big trophies then good luck to you. Thing with Ajmal is: a) He chucks...even I know many Pakistanis accepts it. b) He needs spin friendly pitches & weak players of spin to bowl well. c)Dosen't know what to do in death overs when batsman go after him - Yuvraj, Hussey, Bravo etc. Heck even Kevin O' Brien taken him to cleaners. d)His test bowling is a big question mark as he is yet to play in testing conditions.
