skindia Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 No place in any squad also no raina in A team?but raina would be there for sure, dont u think uv can contribute in wc in aus?
The Realist Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 What would be the point of taking a 32 year old on A tour? He is finished at international level
Cricket_Hacker Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 End of skindia lifetime in ICF? Robin is only 28
achilles Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 If Raina with his sadakchaap technique gets picked ahead of Yuvraj, it will send a very negative message to the cricketing fraternity in India.
Cricket_Hacker Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 If Raina with his sadakchaap technique gets picked ahead of Yuvraj' date=' it will send a very negative message to the cricketing fraternity in India.[/quote'] And what message will picking yuvraj send to the cricketing fraternity?
mancalledsting Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 If Yuvraj has an excellent season domestically And no one steps up on the ODI scene- he has an outside chance of going to Aus What would be great if him and Yusuf were sent to the big bash but BCCI won't allow that

SLICKR392 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Sending them to shield trophy is better than bash bash tourney. Why waste your time on Yusuf on the first place?
PBN Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 As far as the selectors are concerned, he's no where near the Indian team at the moment. He's neither in the team for the tour of Bangladesh or in the Indian A teams for Australia. That's a big pool of players and if he can't make into those teams, then he's really far away from the national team. At the moment, the only team he's able to find himself is an exhibition game with a bunch of retired players. Same goes for Sehwag. He'd need to have a really big domestic season to have any chance of coming back. A lot can change in little time as far as the selectors are concerned. But it will be a difficult road ahead for Yuvi.
Cricket_Hacker Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Yuvraj is living in denial. After that fluke 50 vs aus he was very cocky and said "what loss in form,my odi form is scratchy but t20 form was excellent"

UV on the field doesn't look to inspiring does he. But I guess he would somehow make it to the WC coz of his past heroics.
Switchblade Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Will be a walking wicket in Australia and as it is his record is horrible in Australia
nevada Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Yup, this might be the end. I think he will want to be in the WC squad next year but this time the selectors need to be firm and not do any sentiment based selection.
Lord Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 yep its over for all practical purposes.Dont want him back as much as I am his fan hoping for a Viru comeback in ODIs though :D
