In terms of pace who else is there???

Two newer pacers who caught my eye in terms of pace and bounce this domestic season. Shardul Thakur -- Shorter skiddy pacer who looks very sharp visually , hurried batsmen and has a mean bouncer. Ravi Kiran -- Tall, bouncy and fast medium. Was lifting the ball from short of good length and at decent pace.

Shardul still needs to get better in terms of fitness and stamina, leaner and flexible. New season can be make or break for him. He showed a lot of improvement this season, looked fitter, but still need a lot of improvement in fitness. Ravi Kiran has potential.

Manpreet Gony -- He is another tall pacer who bowls 135 to 140 k, bowls a heavy ball and hits the bat. He is 6'4" and gets a lot of bounce. Has been bowling well this season but is rarely talked about.

need to invest on avesh khan and chama milind.both are different types of bowlers and looked impressive.avesh has all the ingredients to be a goodfast bowlers and even bowled with good pace 135+.milind reminds me of chaminda vaas.hopefully both will be monitored carefully by the bcci

The A teams for Australian tours -- Why has Bumrah been omitted for 50 over games ? He has a good yorker and can be economical. No Suyal, Gony . Why ? Unadkat in one of the teams. Why ?

Pitch it up and swing it and you don't need to be 140's. I mean Anderson is 130ish when he actually pitches it up and swings it.

Ravi Kiran has potential.[/quote'] I saw shardul bowling with Zaheer khan in a 4 day match - he out bowled ZAk on pace all the time and even got more wickets than ZAk. Shardul is probably faster than Dhwal kulkarni though dhawal has more control. dhwal is a 130 to 137k bowler where as shardul bowls around 135 to 141k and hence if shardul improves his pace and control a little more - he has potential to play for india. Dhwal is a lttle slow to play for INDIA as he bowls at bhuvi's pace.

beauty of anderson is that he bowls between 133 to 145k ....he has the swing of a Bhuvi , pace of a Varun and control of a jadeja....

Bumrah in tests after 1 spell will have to be taken to hospital for broken arm if he attempts to bowl at 140k. In T20 at best you bowl a 3 or 4 over spell. Mostly 2 over spell. No big deal to crank up your speed.

Problem with Indian bowlers is "effort bowling". There are times you have to put something in the ball. Though their release speed is 140k, without effort in it it is often viewed as a floaty delivery rather than a threatening delivery. Shoulder effort is lacking from all bowlers. Umesh can bowl. But more he tries more he is erratic.

He has bowled at that pace all through FC season in flat decks and even at Jamshedpur patta got 8 wickets, total 35 wickets in 7 games. Domestic one day bowled 10 overs bowling 135-140 regularly, was pretty sharp in Deodhar trophy.
