I just hope our batsmen work on their footwork before the sa series, some drills with a wet bowl, also they need to be playing the pull consistently, once rabada gets hit around he at times doesn't seem to have a plan B. Ngidi too. He can be intimidating in south africa. Our batsmen are hopeless if the oldies are picked again. Quota players are going to get smashed. If we pick a younger team we can beat the saffers. Make no mistake. Olivier/sipamla nortje rabada qdk Elgar Markram Mulder etc. This is no joke. They aren't weak by any means. They are as strong as they were in the past. For some reason results do not reflect their true ability. It's a strong unit. England have always beaten them in the past. Even in 2000 era England won in s.africa. so don't mistaken them losing to England as a sign of weakness. Not too long ago they also beat new zeland away without ABD although steyn morkel and philander played. If anything current bowling looks even stronger tbh. Steyn wasn't In his prime when they last beat Kiwis. Edited December 2, 2021 by Jay Link to comment
express bowling
Ishant Sharma out of the 2nd test. One of the better things that could have happened to our bowling unit. This is the 8th test that Ishant is missing due to injury in the last 2 years. What is the point of continuing with such an injury prone old pacer who is not performing in recent times either and looking slow and out of energy !
