It's a problem because he runs in with big angle. Needs to run in a straight line. And the most important is collapse of the backfoot after BFC. If there is no collapse, everything will improve. Jofra Archer is hip dominant and midway too. Lot of hip dominant bowlers are midway but they don't collapse. Backfoot collapse is a big problem for him. Link to comment

You need coordination between upper and lower body. Lower body can move faster than upper body. Slight lack of coordination between the two will lead to disruption in action chain. He will need close monitoring to find exact cause and improvement based on that. Link to comment

I think he might be operating in the band of late 120s to early 130s. They used to show his age as 20 earlier, but now removed. Mosher, SRT100, sarchasm and 1 other 1 3 Link to comment

express bowling
What kind of sutiyagiri is this. Shami returning after 4 months and is told to bowl the last over without any over upfront and very little time on the field. What if he picks up a niggle !!!! If that were the case then we could have had a pace attack of Shami, Siraj, Hardik and just 1 trundler now. SRT100, rollingstoned, Suhaan and 1 other 4 Link to comment

If a pacer is bowling quick then even low full tosses are not easy to hit as they hit the bat very hard. Our trundlers get hit in the death overs anyway, so what is there to lose ! Even low full tosses won't be garbage if bowled above 88 mph. The objective should be to err on the fuller side rather than bowling half volleys. Nikhil_cric
Regardless of pace, Bhuvaneshwar is the least of our problems as he showed once again. There will be the odd day when he goes for plenty on an extremely flat deck but he certainly makes the first XI Link to comment

Any fitness coach will say he should have been out on the field for a while before bowling. He still may have an injury, time will tell how he cools down from bowling that last over. express bowling and rollingstoned 2 Link to comment

How pathetic is TM and BCCI to not see how this potentially would be lethal in a WC? You then carefully pick selected backups for each bowler specifically. Not just any stupid trundler at 130lkmhr.
