the don
151.2 kph from shaheen afridi. That whole over was around 148 kph and above. I repeat again that he is now one of the fastest bowlers in the world as he showed in the test series by matching Nortje for pace. PCB must protect him. Link to comment

We have not been able to bring to the fore any of our pacers from the U19 WCs, 2016, 2018 or 2020. And there are a lot of talented quick bowlers from the U19 teams. We have 4 fast bowlers ( Avesh, Mavi. Nagarkoti and Tyagi ) and a few Fast-medium bowlers ( Khaleel, Porel, Akash, Sushant ) ... and Akash will become fast in a couple years. But the intent, to develop these pacers with special care, is missing. Avesh is in great form now ... but still being ignored. No smart rotation policy unless there is an injury but the farking pecking order is prioritized than sheer skills,There are atleast 2-3 long formats ready to debut but lack foresight has stagnated our progress Pakistan never had the choice to play or not play him as their bowlers come and fade away, Shaheen being highly skilled grabbed opportunity with both hands, Note -plz don't believe speed readings there , he's remotely not close to those speeds, but he is good and will only get better if they handle him properly express bowling and Mosher 2 Link to comment

There seems to be a lack of a good central coordinator who looks after the career progress of the young quick bowlers and manage a smooth transition from the U19 level to the national team via domestic matches and A-team games. Quote Note -plz don't believe speed readings there , he's remotely not close to those speeds, but he is good and will only get better if they handle him properly Saw a couple of trundlers bowling 140 k today. Actually i believe its a very good method to market your local pacers , Shaheen being the leader is hugely benefitted,it boosts confidence of newcomers,i have seen a huge huge improvement in Shaheens body language he s coming to the terms of International cricket and belives he's one of the top pacers in world cricket, that is one self belief which sets top bowlers apart from the other lot Mosher and express bowling 2 Link to comment

I was seeing a Sheffield shield game there was Cummins turning up for his state side and boland and pattinson bowling against him Australia has this habit of getting their internationals exposed in domestics. India definitely can do better right now its just the fact that India has so much more net number of players to choose from. Link to comment
Vilander
And look may be mavi and nagar even tyagi might bowl as fast or faster than Saheen and the other wonder kid of theirs but the fact is they are maturing faster and India is squandering this wealth of talent. express bowling 1 Link to comment

Every country tries to market the quality and pace of their local pacers except India. The Indian commentator and broadcasters are horrible in this regard. The Indian fast bowling group has the best bowling averages, both home and away, in the last 3 years in tests. But we hear or see nothing about it on TV. And there is rarely any mention when Indians bowl above 144 k. The complete apathy towards our upcoming young fast bowlers in apalling too. All this hamper the development process of young quicks as they are down on encouragement and motivation. Edited March 1, 2021 by express bowling Suhaan and Mosher 2 Link to comment

Our young pacers will mature only if they get to play every domestic match and are fast tracked into A-teams. But not happening. Suhaan, Forward Defence and Mosher 3 Link to comment

Mavi and Nagarkoti's progress has also much to do with their fitness They have been mostly out injured, just look at Nagarkoti he seems once again injured On the other hand Shaheen seems to have not come across any major injury as of now,so he has progressed in the meantime express bowling and Vilander 2 Link to comment
