Speeds and Performances of Pacers and Spinners

We badly need decent left arm seamers in our squad.Aniket in tests and Sangwan in LOIs seems to be

the solution for now.Sangwan also bats well.I rate them higher than Sran.

Seamers for tests:-

Shami,Umesh,BK,Aniket,Ishant/Aaron.

Rajpoot in the fringe.

for LOIs:-

Bumrah,Shami,BK,Nathu,Thampi.+ Pandya as seam bowling allrounder

Sangwan in the fringe as Shami sometimes gets a break as he's our

spearhead in tests.

I saw thampi today....looked good but still raw and little weak to compete with international bowlers.

Ankit rajput looks strong n 134 to 142k...kinda capable to take over from ishant when ishant becomes slower but as on date he is a lil inferior to ishant.

Aniket was shrewd but lil slow around 130 to 138k ...brainder Sran is better than him.

Sanghwan looked quick and as powerfully built as a wrestler.

Even bowled between 135 to 145k.

Sangawan and ankit rajput looked best.

If I hv to choose 1 then I l say Sanghwan looked quicker n better.

Not surprising to see Sangwan hitting those speeds at all...

Umesh Avg 86.2 mph Fastest 90 mph

Ishant is not far behind Umesh in terms of pace though I think both can bowl faster

with higher intensity depending on the quality of the opposition.

Must include Sangwan for the warm-up against Australia. He is the one guy for whom gaining big muscles has resulted in increase of pace as he has bowling action to do that. He is still only 26. He can get even quicker.

Those big shoulders come into play when he bowls the effort balls like the bouncers.
