Bumrah when fit will bowl at full intensity...irrespective of the format. Infact he is quicker in Tests. I dont think he is enjoying these conditions as well.

Suhaan Posted July 25, 2025 Posted July 25, 2025 (edited) Bumrah must retire from tests ,if he can't put effort in tests plays He harms more than benefitting,it's better to prepare and attack without him High time why don't we understand we don't have any tall pacer who is disciplined enough and has bounce at 130+(which we have special love for) Better to let guys like Kuldeep,Umran,Kartik,Harshit take over and let them.learn Umesh,Ishant did learn after playing lots of cricket ,once they did we had a superb pace attack Edited July 25, 2025 by Suhaan RAZPOR and MK55 2
MK55 Posted July 25, 2025 Posted July 25, 2025 (edited) Bumrah 133 136 131 131 Into his 26th over. This guy is done. Edited July 25, 2025 by MK55

Tripped down the stairs and hurt his ankle. Had a calf injury earlier. But hitting high 130s regularly in his 27th over and hitting the bat hard now. Edited July 25, 2025 by express bowling Mosher 1

Even before that trip, his speeds are significantly lower. There’s no quick bowler in the side sadly only fast medium.
MK55 Posted July 25, 2025 Posted July 25, 2025 (edited) If Bumrah had a calf injury, couldn’t he tell the team he’s not fit?? Hes a senior and a celebrity bowler now. I’m 100 percent sure they would have listened to him with no questions. Or is he just scared of breaking down? That’s totally valid but then he should probably play only 2 tests a series and stick to LOIs But the sad part is that even with him bowling at 75 percent, he is miles better than the trundlers. I got the feeling that his calf injury late in Test 3 was hampering his runup in this Test from the start. Our strength and conditioning coach does not seem that efficient. We lose this and Test 5 becomes meaningless from the point of view of the series win. 5 minutes ago, MK55 said: But the sad part is that even with him bowling at 75 percent, he is miles better than the trundlers. express bowling Posted July 25, 2025 Author Posted July 25, 2025 (edited) This is what the irreplaceable Bharat Arun said before our Australia tour 2024-25 " It's a question of identifying the right ones and giving them opportunities to be ready for the Australian trip. There are lots of bowlers who hit 140-150 kph in the IPL. So it is about nurturing and giving them the right exposure. There must be a first time. Red ball cricket is something these bowlers must get used to. We have time but we need to prepare by giving them enough overs under their belt," Arun told Indian Express ". So Arun was in favour of choosing really quick bowlers and preparing them and their bodies for red ball cricket by giving them lots of overs under their belt. No wonder he was a top bowling coach and our quicks sustained pace under him. This is what is missing now. We don't prepare our quicker pacers and their bodies for the rigours of red ball cricket. ind_hyd1 Posted July 25, 2025 Posted July 25, 2025 Guys the blame shouldn't be on Bumrah alone, pathetic team selection and selectors showing poor judgement is the reason. Why was Khaleel not selected, he also had a impressive spell in the 2nd ind a match. If batters are getting 3 consecutive matches inspite of failures why not bowlers. And finally why select a military medium pacer , is ms Dhoni's certificate the only criteria. It's quite evident he relies completely on conditions. Who was behind that PR machinery for this guy, GG should be bold and realize bowlers win matches why so many allrounders. Why did we take Kuldeep to England if he isn't going to play. Still don't understand this Kamboj guy was hyped so much, and finally GG who once in an interview said what has Ravi Shastri achieved should look himself in the mirror. Ipl is different from test match cricket. Board should go for a different coach. Atleast for tests . singhvivek141, express bowling and tweaker 3

R!TTER Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 Coming from Dhongi, who used to stay back to pacers to avoid finger(hand?) injuries, it's more than just ironic that he can still spout such BS Lord and Rightarmfast 1 1
