HP bowlers bowled in the morning, lot of swing then. Link to comment

Clocked 137+ on these speed guns without looking like he was putting much effort. Bowled a few short balls at 140 and beat the batsman for pace. Skillful too. Got the ball to shape back in to the right hander and also moved it away. Skiddy pace and got decent bounce. Yash Dayal is on the taller side too bro. If he can sustain these speeds ( probably 140 k to 145 k on good speed guns ) he can be an asset Edited December 22, 2021 by express bowling Mosher and Suhaan 2 Link to comment

Dont think so ,he looked quick as 138 is not slow but he didn't look visually 140+either infact Rajpoot himself was clocking 133 which he didn't do for past 2 years now, maybe he put effort here and that was simultaneous with Mavi clocking 135+ consistently Brother,I really hope these speed guns as usual were reading speeds lesser by 3-4 kph Edited December 22, 2021 by Suhaan express bowling 1 Link to comment

express bowling
Aditya Thakare, bowling at 115 kph, has picked up 2 wickets. Puts a question mark on many of these batsmen. I mean this is like getting out to Steve Waugh or Ganguly or Ealham kind of bowlers. SRT100, Suhaan, Mosher and 2 others 3 1 1 Link to comment

There is no upside to this policy. These old pacers are most likely to deteriorate very fast due to fitness issues at an " old " age. A semi fit " big name " pacer is really dangerous for Team India as we just looove our senior cricketers. rollingstoned, Mosher, Vijy and 2 others 2 3 Link to comment

Just look at the last series vs Australia. If India had all its seniors fit, India LOSES to Australia. Make NO DOUBT about that. sensible-indian, Suhaan, Vijy and 1 other 1 3 Link to comment

Jay
I think Indian domestic players expect unadkat to bowl really fast given his action, however, they get so bored of anticipating for the ball which causes them to lose concentration and their wickets in the process. Link to comment

I agree he was bowling 134-135 most balls. And these speed guns were both erratic and on slower side. I would not be surprised if his avg pace in the match (with accurate speed guns) was close to 140, but a shade lower. He was hurrying players reasonably often. As Suhaan wrote, in VHT he is mostly bowling 110s and 120s in speed guns. I think speed guns are about 5 kph off (on avg) and he was clearly not putting enough effort. add it collectively, and the recorded speeds are 10 kph lower than int'l stuff. the speed gun discrepancy of 5 kph is good because it means mavi and dayal were bowling close to 140 on avg.
