wasim bashir is all over the place on twitter and social media...I guess he could be in reckoning soon. IS he really 150k bowler , kinda tyagi and Saini Pace or is in in Umran's category.

 

i dont say that these guys are GOOD today but they are one's on which BCCI should throw in the money,train these guys harder. investment on these guys can give great returns like Bumrah.

 

Raj bawa and rajwardhan hingekar are being talked about as possible All rounders. Lets see what happens.

looks like kuldeep sen is breaking all doors and is going to be in Indian test/odi 11 soon. he is taking wickets on indian patta's.

it is seriously difficult to take wickets of top order batsman by pacers on Indian Patta wickets.

From the few clips , seems like  his namesake  Basit Bashir has more skills to take wickets than Wasim Bashir. Also Basit is taking wickets in ongoing U25 tourney , not sure Wasim did the same . Wasim seem to prefer bounce which looks good on  view (Oohs & Aaahs ) but wickets column won't be that good . I could be wrong as sample is very few but my bet is Basit among the 2 .

He is 6'3 tall probably similar to Arshdeep in pace.

These quicks r never gonna get in the side. This side has got boring to watch. Sick of this mindset. reminiscent of some corrupt n senile administrative office. Literally every single side and sometimes even minnows have got those X factor players. They add to the entertainment if nothing else. And cricket is like most games also  a spectator sport. 

If I were one of these players, I’d be so charged up, I’d retire hurt these clowns in the nets LOL

Next in line coach, Laxman, has a very defensive mindset, based on the impression we get by his commentary. 

 

He loves Old Established players and medium pacers.

Probably it's time to quit watching Indian cricket and just watch the IPL only.

 

No matter who the Captain and Coach are for India,  they just play trundlers.

 

Frankly speaking, missing Csptain Kohli. He had never overloaded the Team with trundlers. Now it looks like Indian pace revolution was due to Kohli only. 

 

 

100%. Yes Kohli in his initial years, was vehemently supportive of pace. He included both Aaron n Yadav in the Australian series (and played them both).
It’s a different thing, that started going downhill in IPL. But in tests, had it not been for Kohli n Shastri perhaps, we never would have got those quick bowlers in the side. 

I don’t think any of the present players who are thought as ‘captain’ material have got the right attitude when it comes to selections. And some of the statements, I’m hearing in press conferences are F embarrassing. TBH I’ve never seen anything like that in any sport lol. This is not some backyard team where you’re organizing the whole event yourself.

 

FFS we need a foreign coach (at least a bowling coach) who won’t suck up to these clowns. And by that I mean someone like Steyn. Not just for skill development, but to ensure that the right players are given the opportunities at the right time. It has literally come down to that now.

I’m sure with the right offer n compensation, we would get some good coach who is presently undecided due to media commitments. Every f thing can be bought perhaps may be good health

They don't want good coaches. They want Yes men to the Captain and the general establishment.

 

People who won't or can't oppose when the interests of Superstars and sponsors are protected.

While these guys may or may not get to play India....  We need these guys to replace short Trundlers & phonies like Sid Kaul,  Sandeep Sharma,  Rishi Dhawan Sakariya those Aussie /English Trundlers in IPL.  @Mosher 

 

Once public gets a taste of genuine fast bowling everything will change. 

Right now Jaahil fans prefer telly tubby line & length bowlers who look world beaters in bilaterals.

arshdeep's pace is 130 to 142K....kind of medium fast- not impressive , it is his swing and left arm thats impressive and he bowls fuller length and yorker length

No expert in judging the pace of a bowler by few videos but looking at his load up (unless he has some freaky thing going on like Jofra )and how close the keeper is and even moving-in sometime, makes you think he is sub-140 kmph bowler.
