Yes batters have more shots now and are able to move in the crease and are able to pre-emptive bowlers better. What McGrath had back then Rasid Khan(Afgn.) has right now, the batter are not able go forward or go back- this could be some tangential comparison in current era. Was never able to sustain same pace into 2nd spell and shed that extra weight. Was selected directly from nets on Gayle's recommendations-Not sure had enough games in domestic circuits. Was playing CPL and SPL but, no way near same pace. They have A.Joseph - pedigreed bowler coming from age groups able to build up some pace ~142 kmph express bowling and Forward Defence 2
