Want to see how Shami goes in that 3 pronged attack. We can constantly attack. Bumrah being this sort of spearhead takes the entire attack up 2 levels.

Just going through your comments. Looks like I missed a great display of fast bowling by Bumrah towards the end.

Something about Siraj, he tries to swing the ball in the air when the ball is new, bowls quite slowly to do that. But mostly he isn't finding any shape in these conditions in daylight. Mostly ineffective in his first spell.

When he comes back in 2nd spell, he is considerably fast and tries to get movement off the pitch by hitting the seam or cross seam hard. He is finding decent movement off it. He beat even set Das in his second spell a few times.

I believe even upfront he can search for swing one over after that he can try to go full throttle seam hitting.

This is the first match after comeback in which Bumrah was beating and intimidating batters with pace and bounce even after the ball stopped moving.

 

140 k to 145 k with pinpoint accuracy and good bounce. Plus that heavy ball hitting the bat very hard. 

 

I was wondering if we will have this old Bumrah back .. and good to see it happen

Very good points.

 

Siraj keeps searching for swing even after it is clear that he isn't getting any. And he keeps getting hit as his fuller balls become half volleys without swing. And he has to bowl around 132 k to 138 k to get swing. [ while Bumrah can swing it at 137 k to 144 k and swing it for longer in the same conditions ] 

 

Siraj needs to go to his seam, cross seam and bounce at 135 k to 145 k / 147 k earlier if he is not getting swing.  

 

Needs to be smarter. 

 

And practice his yorkers more to improve his death bowling.

Siraj is not bowling as well as he did in SL. The control is not great.

 

Aggression is great but needs to be calm too when required and do what's required.

Hasan Mahmud is pretty impressive and bowls a zippy heavy ball. 

 

Hurries batters at 133 k to 141 k.

Fizz bowling high 130s with bounce. 

 

BD bowling lots of bouncers in the first 15 overs too .... while the Indian quicks bowled lots of bouncers only in the last 10 overs.

 

This pitch has bounce and so bouncer is a great weapon to use.
