if i was captain - i would ask him to bowl the first over and start the bowling attack , ask bumrah to bowl from other side and siraj as first change. shammi pehle 4 over mein hi 3 wicket le lega aur game khatam...he is at the Peak of his capabilities.

he may finish with 4 wickets or another fifer and finally, this world cup will be known as SHAMMI WALA WORLD CUP.

in the next match He should bowl with a new ball and not as first change.

We can't rest all of them. not enough backups. we can and should rest boom and/or siraj

Ashwin ,shardul,prasidh are there.They should get a chance to prepare in case they are needed in the sf.

if we need shardul, we will be screwed. he cannot bowl 10 overs. I would rest boom and siraj, and bring in prasidh and ashwin. shami can continue to play since he was on the bench earlier on

 YESS. Seam movement after pitching at 140+ is the most difficult to face for batters . Just no time to adjust to the movement which could be in or out !

Seam movement at this pace is unmanageable , batters either have to be v.lucky or go to old style test batting- playing late and cover for just 1 line and hope other line is not threatening the wkts.
