Prasidh and Arshdeep Singh are tall and young. Not sure why their bowling does not look threatening at all.  How much can they improve at this point of their career. Can they play test matches is my question ??

 

How are these bowlers including Avesh any update over Shami, Ishant, Umesh etc. Bumrah will still be around for a while.

 

I would have been nice if these taller bowlers could bowl 145 plus consistently with control.

I’ve really started to lose interest in this Indian team. Could barely watch a couple of overs today. And even in that brief time, I was subjected to some nauseating commentary lol.

 

Unless some new exciting quicks are drafted in, I don’t see what can reinvigorate my attitude towards this team. Things were better ten years back. Even during those days of limited talent pool, at least we gave some chances to guys like Aaron and Umesh. It’s a total full stop right now for any new bowling talent. 

Umran was the last such bowler we were willing to take a chance upon (for a few months). And then these clowns fed him with garbage and totally destroyed his line of thought. Not just the support staff but even the other senior players in the team. It’s a different matter that he himself should have done better. 
At least there should be one such exciting prospect in the side at all times. Be it Mayank or Tyagi or whoever.

Today again Ind batting finished at no.6, hard to understand why  Ind is not looking to bat deep. Need bowler who can bat.

 

This WC. was a sign of how things are changing 300-320 are chase-able scores , 330+ are par scores teams are moving forward, Ind was  looking like lossing agnts NZ in WC even after ~400 score.

 

All bowlers selected today were at best no.11 batter, now we are looking at Laxman as a coach - Think we need better mindset ppl who understand modern day cricket.
