we should close the chapter of Prasidh in T20s..no yorkers..he doesnt have it in him..to play T20s..lacks confidence..

where are those yorkers he bowled in last match..

 

also lets not forget..India is playing with kind of stronger team..even though they are young..possibly Bumrah will strengthen bowling...

Aussies..are just experimenting..by bowling Hardie full quota and Maxie in last over..

they are checking how they fit in for their T20 balance..

 

their bowling will be ..

1-Hazelwood,2-Cummins,3-Starc\Behrendoff,4-Zampa\Sangha,5+-maxwell\Stoinis\marsh\Green\Head etc

 

ours:

1-Bumrah,2-Arshdeep,3-Shami\Avesh\Mukesh\Prasidh,4-Bishnoi\Kuldeep,5+Axar\Pandya

 

So their bowling will get more stronger as compared to ours..esp the wkt taking ability..

ours will be again too overreliant on Bumrah..

 

our seniors return in batting if they return..may not add that much value in our batting as its already making runs..

the problem again is the tail..and we are also not bowling Tilak..so not grooming 6th bowler..

 

Australia are better preparing for T20 worlcup..and will be more strengthened with return of senior players..

The batting which is our strong point..we are trying to make it stronger..but not much work being done to improve the bowling..or 6th bowler..

with 4 tailenders..and unreliable pace attack..you are not going to win knock outs..unless ur top 6 are scoring 235+ like previous match..how many %age of that happening in a knock out..single digits..

This a forgettable match for Prasidh, slower one is not his forte and it was evident he was struggling. 

 

Hope BCCI don't mix formats and select him for SA ODI's and not for T20's.

Wrong format..

Just like Haris Rauf & Shadab aren't ODI, Test bowlers...similarly Prasidh isn't a T20 bowler.

You know what I can see that happening to be honest. Mukesh is a boring bowler to watch and  poor fielder + can’t bat.
 

however he has done well in every opportunity he has got and got to respect that. I don’t see a high ceiling here but he has lasted longer than I thought he would. He has his basics right and will remain injury free so he can become Shami level if he keeps working hard and improving as he keeps earning good will by staying in the scheme of things.

Prasidh reminds me of ishant, not the brightest, but stands out in india due to our poor pace bowling legacy.

 

Don't think he is bankable even in tests,but when conditions suite him he can surprise .

Waisay honestly bechara Prasidh scapegoat ban gaya. I have a feeling all three pacers playing today were likely to choke with maybe Arshdeep having the best chance.

Struggle is fine, what's important is he has the skills and should be backed.

 

That's the purpose of these bilaterals are, to understand which player is at what position and where they needs to improve. Else we will never move ahead from Bumrah, Shami, Siraj. 

 

I am surprised on some of the folks (not you) who were saying they won't watch the bilateral and calling it a fraud, but suddenly India looses one game and now everyone is out with the swords.

Kartik tyagi is a poor man's prasidh but I will trust him over prasidh in the last over.

Time to give new bowlers a chance.
