Mukesh could not even defend 19 runs in the final over and the match went to super over against even Afghanistan. 

 

He is expensive in most LOIs but is a sureshot pick.

What is the point of having Avesh Mukesha when you have Arshdeep?

Though a smaller ground, but Ind fast bowlers looked v.club level type against a batting side who was losing wkt at good intervals.

 

Even with falling wkts Ind bowler were unable to tap the run flow, heard this TM rates Avesh highly not sure what they see in him. Part from that break-out IPL- DC season he has looked ordinary. In that season too DC had prime Rabada and Nortje bowling his fastest and Avesh was able to pick wkts on the pressure created by them

Avesh in that season was quick as well..was bowling 136-143k.

 

Avesh from 2022 onwards is trundling & his pace is overall going down...in 2022 he was 132-139 and now he is even bowling at 129-136. On top of that his action is really laboured and looks like he has to put a lot of effort to hit that pace.

Mukesh is reverse Bhuvi...i.e. expensive at start, okaish at death.

I cant believe I am saying this, but in other 2 departments Bhuvi is 10 times better than Mukesh.

Mukesh is in league of Khaleel Ahmed & Munaf Patel in batting & fielding.

He was like that since beginning,if you go back to 2018 he was clocking 148

But even then too he was fluctuating between 132-145+

He's like Prasidh who too fluctutes a lot but Prasidh still can bowl in high 140s but lacks awareness where Avesh is notch better

Bowling avg of 74 in Tests & 40 in ODI's...such bowler is our bowling coach. 

 

At this rate, Mhambrey will be replaced by Ashok Dinda or Vinay Kumar.

For newball and death i would pick haryana duo of sumit kumar and harshal patel,they are no worse than avesh and mukesh and can also bat

So you will not consider Chirag Jani, Atit Sheth & Divij Mehra ?

They are even slower & can bat as well.

i think sumit is the best new white ball option of all of them ,divij is also a good option with the new ball but havent seen him bat or bowl with white ball.Atit is not that good with the new ball ,is a bit like avesh but can bat.Jani is like dube with the ball.

 

They are the best of a bad lot .
