Bro, I was astonished to see Akashdeep removed after just 2 overs. He was the only bowler who looked like taking a wicket yesterday. 

 

Although he conceded 12 runs in his 2nd over today, 2 of those shots vould have been catches on another day.

 

And he was bowling the channel.and moving the ball away.

Siraj's default mode isn't as slow as this series' speeds. He invariably bowls some 140 k to 142 k balls even when he is not at his quickest and hitting 144 k to 148 k.

 

In this series he has bowled very few at 140 k+ and seen nothing above 141 k.

Could also be a case of Siraj preserving himself for the IPL and bowling within himself.

 

Bumrah has bowled 135 k to 144 k/ 145 k regularly, as this is his default speed, but has probably bowled just 4 or 5 bouncers in 3 tests. Preserving himself too.

Bashir from what I watched bowled hardly 2-3 bad balls in his marathon spell. 

Tall lad with overspin and excellent lines.  Some luck with YBJ's wicket  but goodness he looked superb. 

 

Ashwin was toothless & barely bowled attacking lines.. Nor any overspin in his bowling.

Ashwin is a very poor bowler when pitches don't help him, e.g., no turn, no bounce (as in Oz). He has played about 2/3rd of home tests on dustbowls. in contrast, kumble had to bowl throughout 2000s on many pattas. if he had access to the same pitches, he would have racked up a crazy record. Remember Axar's series vs Eng: on such pitches, Kumble would have had a sub-13 avg.

How ordinary has this guy Siraj been?? Probably his most important spell in this match. He’s bowling rubbish at 130k. Someone like Bumrah would have realized the importance of this spell and raised his intensity.

India should seriously consider replacing Siraj with someone like Harshit.

 

Rubbish bowling by Siraj. Bowling without any pace or effort on a placid pitch.
