not really. he is a typical lazy hyderabadi. grew up in that city, so I speak from experience. I remember how shops would open at 11:00-ish, then close at 2:00 for lunch, 1+ hour break, then close again at 5 for tea, and then wrap up by 7:00.

Siraj was always going to struggle in these conditions with his approach.Wood was the quickest of the lot but struggled the most among the pacers.

 

 

But Siraj did play a pivotal role on the 3rd day at Rajkot ,with ashwin gone and eng off to a great start thanks to duckett ,his four wickets were crucial in turning the tide when the series was at a knife's edge ,else things could have easily gone downhill.

Yea if akashdeep played he would have done the same if not better. So he plays 1 out of 4 good game.s he needs to be dropped

140 Kmph in Domestic after a v.long season is not that bad, not a big drop from T20 to FC bowling speeds - Good to see that.

 

Not sure getting confused him with some1 else but SMAT last (or previous to last )season he showed a lot of brains was not predictable, bowled some good slower ones too.

Varied pace and length as well.

yes, he should be considered for T20s and ODIs. not sure yet about tests, because his batting seems to be beyond atrocious: it appears to be sub-siraj level. of course, bowlers are not chosen for their batting, but one cannot afford a lot of no. 11s in tests. in T20s, it is fine, because only 20 overs exist
