I still don't understand why they select such bowlers when there is ample talented more physically well developed bowlers available. Just makes no sense.

It's all about the process and pecking order. 

Seasoned trundlers will be given top priority.

What a f embarrassment. World Cup honeymoon is over. This is the state of the team without Bumrah.

Mukesh - i did not see but it seems he was not fast

khaleel was a shade slow

avesh was bad in first over and then he took 2 wickets and picked up pace up to 136 to 140K

I may play PACE AR ahead of mukesh

The Mukesh Chapter should close as soon as possible especially in LOIs, I can see his utility in England and Nz on seaming pitches and under clouds, that's it.

Fastest I saw Khaleel was 137. Hovering around 133.

Mukesh fastest was 135, hovering closed to 128-130.

On this Harare pitch,  140+ pace is not required.  Pacers simply need to pitch it in the good length area (little outside off stump).  Wickets will come.    None of Zim bowlers bowled at 140+ yesterday.   But they all looked more effective than Zaleel & Avesh.

We need to develop young all-condition pacers for the future using these low profile tours and not just win these matches.

 

Mayank Yadav and Harshit Rana look like the best candidates as they combine pace, bounce and height with accuracy, seam movement and other skills.

Blessing was touching 140k mark..  But all of them landed the ball on seam.

Except Mukesh no one in Indian side did that... Avesh is Tukka bowler with no control on his lines.

They are tall but don't have strength.

You need to put some effort from the shoulder as well to get the lift.

 

Muzarabani & even Chatara were getting more bounce than the two.
