Day 1 Perth is absolute fine to bat with little help but as soon as Sun beats down & cracks open up it is heaven for Hit the deck Bowling... Someone like Shami's height was who is not a hit the deck pacer by any means was bowling rip snorters there on day 3. Imagine Mayank who is a natural hit the deck pacer & bowls above 90-92mph. That would be ideal. Let's see if they maintain hierarchy or go for the jugular straight up. 2 hours ago, express bowling said: It can work in Perth and Brisbane. Remember Shami in Perth in late 2018. Bowl Mayank in 4 short spells of 3 overs each. If Mayank has to play, then we need to ensure Akash and Harshit are part of XI as well. Both Perth and Brisbane are traditionally pace friendly pitches with little to zero support for the spinners. Which means we need to go only with one of Jadeja/Axar at no 7. From 8-11 you need to have 2 fast bowlers capable of batting, Akash and Harshit will have to bat at no 8 and 9 (or vice versa) while accomodating Mayank and Bumrah at 10/11. This knock off Siraj from the XI.. as he is a dud with the bat. 4 pacer attack will allow Mayank to be himself and bowl in short burts hitting 145-150k. Bumrah & Akash are capable of bowling long spells.

Need4Speed Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 I hope they dont go with Siraj in the xi by seniority..they shud see how he bowls against NZ in this series raki05 1

Siraj Our strongest bowling attack possible in Australia 24. Issue would be rotation in a 5 test series. If we want fresh pacers in every test, we won't be able to sustain this lineup in every test or even for more than 2 tests. express bowling Posted October 17, 2024 Author Posted October 17, 2024 O'Rourke bowling 131 k to 141 k with steep bounce from a high release point. Mosher 1
express bowling Posted October 17, 2024 Author Posted October 17, 2024 (edited) How silly of us to go with only 2 quicks in these conditions. Overcast conditions and rain are expected on almost all days. Edited October 17, 2024 by express bowling Mosher 1
MK55 Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 O'Rourke softens Bumrah with a body blow and gets him out next ball. The Indian batters look scared batting here. They just cant handle any bounce

express bowling Posted October 17, 2024 Author Posted October 17, 2024 India desperately needs a tall bounce bowler like O'Rourke. It adds a different challenge for the batters. Mosher 1

The way they were batting, probably any seam bowler in the world would have got them out cheaply today.
MK55 Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 (edited) O'Rourke increasing his pace now. Watching Siraj's body language and technique would have influenced it lol Edited October 17, 2024 by MK55

MK55 Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 LOL whats with this fascination with reducing run-ups and run-up speeds. WTF Now Siraj has done the same. Bowling in the low to mid 130s so far. Mosher and express bowling 2
