Nikhil_cric Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 Gurnoor should be readied as cover for the main pacers in BGT. There's no point to Mukesh Kumar or Khaleel. Mukesh doesn't have the pace or the height to cause any problems on most wickets let alone OZ wickets. And average left armers are useless in Tests. express bowling, tapandrun, Mosher and 1 other 1 3

And also on the basis of these 2 charts itself, there’s no conditional distribution info to comment something like “higher average turn in all speed ranges” It may not be on this chart but I did see that our spinners did get more turn in all ranges. This was shown elsewhere too. The clear difference was Santner who was getting 5 + degrees of turn from a good length.

VRV was the only one which comes to mind, but was quite erratic. All the Gagandeep, Vineet Sharma, Arshdeep, Sid Kaul, Sandeep Sharma types are 125-130 kph trundlers. Not sure how quick Harvinder Singh was but don't think he too was above 135k. Gurnoor is probably next in line who is 135-140 kph. Suhaan and raki05 1 1
