From this distribution plot, it looks like the average and the top quartiles for turn are higher for the NZ spinners compared to the Indians.  And also on the basis of these 2 charts itself, there’s no conditional distribution info to comment something like “higher average turn in all speed ranges”

It may not be on this chart but I did see that our spinners did get more turn in all ranges.  This was shown elsewhere too.

The clear difference was Santner who was getting 5 + degrees of turn from a good length.

Any news about Kuldeep Sen and Nagarkoti  ?

Kuldeep has recovered from surgery, started working out. Nagarkoti had stress fracture. He isn't fit yet.

Hope to see him play Ranji 2nd half.

No one seems to be bothered about him. Don't know whether he is getting sufficient support from the NCA.

Nagarkoti has made peace with his height

Nagarkoti had stress just before the ipl. Will take at least 6-8 months to recover.

He wasn't playing much cricket before it either

His last Domestic game was Ranji trophy match for Rajasthan on December 20, 2022. And has been regularly injured since then. Has picked up two back to back long injury set backs.

Nagarkoti type skiddy quick short pacers can be very useful in tests played on low and low tracks if they can reverse the ball.

Will keep getting LBWs and bowleds.

Need to play more red ball,to observe more on his long spell bowling

Punjab bowling is looking lur type, innocuous

What a time for Chetan Sharma to start commentating

Saying mishran Karo bauhat Karo,in red ball as well

For some reason, our side of Punjab hasn't produced enough fast bowlers.
VRV was the only one which comes to mind, but was quite erratic. All the Gagandeep, Vineet Sharma, Arshdeep, Sid Kaul, Sandeep Sharma types are 125-130 kph trundlers. Not sure how quick Harvinder Singh was but don't think he too was above 135k. Gurnoor is probably next in line who is 135-140 kph.

Harvinder was fast medium. Certainly 135-140.
