Thats a good observation..could be some niggles/fitness issue or may be trying to develop and control more of away going deliveries.. or may be some suggestions from (non)specialists to just slow down a bit to be more economical.. irrespective of all this..why no one is telling him to cut down these predictable slower balls..he is overdoing it.. After Asia cup :: Aus tour :: Aus has hard ground and pitches if some1 who does not have much exp. bowling on aus pitches usually find it difficult, heard many sc pacer saying it and they also think it can injure them. SA series :: May be bit of niggle but think stamina and lack of/drop in confidence are major factor plus there was direct ques on him to Gambhir in pc. Right now he might be thinking nothing is working if he crank up pace he goes for run and if he drops the pace he still goes for runs... Need some good games, may be play him with bhumrah as 2nd fiddle here he is the main gig which is hurting him -- under lot of pressure each match. Otherwise I don't see any intentional slowing down. He is still running in hard in the runup trying to bowl quick.
