But again, he is touching 25, time is now...couple of years and he'll be 27-28. Need4Speed 1

Well funded academies have speed gun to measure bowlers pace.

But some poster here also mentioned those can be rigged too,, couple of years back Mavi posted a video where hw showed he was clocking 150 kmph and in game he hardly went 135+ kmph... As a bowlers some1 can bowl whole day and 1 particular ball where it clocked whatever they want they can say/post it clocked xkmph But alot of these sm and media post telling some1 is xy kmph are just making the numbers with no evidences. Few years back when Ind team didnt had many 140 kmph bowler then any1 new was touted as 140 kmph, then when Ind started finding alot of 140 kmph bowlers then the speeds were changed to 145 kmph. Now that Ind has Mayank and Umran now every1 is touted as 145-150 kmph bowler. Kambooj was touted as quick, he hardly touched 140 in ipl think 137-138 was his max. Edited January 5 by tapandrun

Sometimes when they put everything in single ball with no real smooth run up they may hit these peaks. But when you are expected to bowl with regular run up and bowl you fall short. IN this video Tyagi touches 138k consistently. THere were occasions where he touched 145k in the tournament. His action, run up, release all look good for long spells. Too bad he just did not take off. Him and Sushant mishra were ivery impressive in that world cup edition. Akash was a trundle rwho eventually played for CSK.

Whatever happened to that scholarship which currently serves no purpose. India needs more and more fast bowlers. One of the biggest contribution of Bumrah is to inspire a lot of players to take up fast bowling> For now they imiate his action. But overall they try to bowl fast. We need more such heroes coming through to inspire a lot of people. Even girls copy Bumrah nowadays express bowling 1
